The first problem I faced was “what does object signifies in history?” At the start of the class Ms Malvika herself asked and explained... Continue Reading →

I also did a lot of research on how industrial style furniture looks like! I took coffee table as my element... Continue Reading →

Sustainable System (WEEK 14)

This class should have been a series of mock-up modules. We had to perform a mock-up session with our classmates. This was a practice round until we went out and spoke to other people about the project. The other participants have had rounds of their mock-ups. Everything has come up great with many different things. Everyone took an active part in every session. The class was really engaging and fun. We had agreed to split the class into two, so we would have in the same class two different age groups. We divided the class into homemakers and  teenagers. Home-makers made box using cardboard and paper and teenagers were told to make posters from the  displayed food items and they had to pick the food products they think are  appropriate to feed the stray dogs. Our main purpose was to teach children what they should feed and what the stray dogs would live on. The aim of the home-makers 'operation was to educate them, how, where and when they should  feed the dogs properly

Object as History (Week 14)

Mirror The white jade case of this mirror is carved with symmetrical flowering plants accented with inset rubies. These objects, decorated with floral motifs... Continue Reading →

Sustainable System (WEEK 13)

For three different age groups we agreed to do 2 activities. We wanted to have an ecofriendly feeder workshop to create dog feeder that will support the strays,  and to educate the audience. We had Teenagers as our target audience in the next one, so we decided to  ask them to make posters about a given theme and material. There's even a dot game for young children which we are thinking to implement. Because of Covid-19 this operation now had a change in strategy. We are now doing the  activities in our houses and making our family do the whole thing as our audience. This will now be another difficult thing forall of us to manage too. It is a limitation that we won't be able to spread more awareness and be more interactive and the part of the data and digital research would be challenging.

Seminar (Week 12)
