This week was final submission week, we had to submit a research paper as a part of group project, for the research paper we had to learn and write about a ceramic artist. We choose Sankho Chaudhuri as our artist. As a brilliant sculptor, a much loved educator, and a remarkable institution-builder, Sankho Chaudhuri will be remembered.
“If I think an ideal guru of the kind we imagine in our epics,” says painter Jyoti Bhatt, “the picture of Sankho da always comes to mind.” He was generous not only with his immense knowledge and experience, but also with his home and his wallet.
in the second half we had to make coils using clay and place it in the bowl, we filled the necessary spaces using clay, the coils after drying would take the shape of the bowl.
