Essential Series – Clay Modelling (Week 3)
Ms. Yashashri Telkar 21/8/2019 The slabbing technique was introduced to this class. We were requested to create baskets using clay, we used the newspaper as a basis for our basket, it supplied a solid foundation for clay and helped to keep a standardized shape. We began by creating long, flattened clay strips and putting them on the newspaper. We customized the basket in our own distinctive style and gave it our own private touch.
